Problems scanning?

Do you have problems scanning when you push the scan button? If the answer is yes, then you need to know that you have to use the Lexmark Productivity Studio icon to scan your documents!!

The Icon looks like this and should be located on your desktop after it is installed:




When the Lexmark Productivity Studio opens just click on the Scan icon (as pictures below):



**Make sure you scan the worksheet as a GRAPHIC/PICTURE! If you scan it as a document your teacher will not be able to read it!!**

Why is my screen sideways?

Sometimes when the wrong buttons are hit the screen will end up being sideways.




To correct this problem simply click CTRL + ALT (Hold down CTRL & ALT at same time then) + Up Arrow.

Getting a Java error when loading Wimba?

What ink cartridge should I buy?

When you are looking to buy ink it is important to buy the correct number ink. You need to look at the model of the printer that you have, that could be: x1100, X1270, x2500, x2600, x2670. The number is located on the printer itself on the lower right hand corner.

The printer model corresponds to the cartridge number:

x1100 = 17
x1270 = 16
x2400 = 1
x2500 = 28
x2600 = 14
x2670 = 14
x3350 = 32

Having problems getting past the Java check in Wimba?


The user needs to install a Java patch for Wimba to be able to work.

Click on the following link: http://www.palearnersonline.com/A1/lib/MobileClient_JavaFix.zip and open the file MobileClient_JavaFix.reg then click on run. Click Yes to run it, then OK and the patch is installed.

Close all Internet Explorer windows and open them back up and run the Wimba wizard.
