Problems getting on Internet with Dell e5500 laptop?

Some students have had an issue with connecting to a wireless connection with the Dell Latitude e5500 laptop. One of the issues might be that you accidentally shut off the wireless on the laptop by switching the wireless switch to off. Here is the error you would probably be getting if the button was turned off:



The switch is located on the front of the laptop:


In the picture the wireless connection is turned on, but if it was switched off you would see Red. Make sure the switch is pushed all the way to the right so no Red is showing, like the picture above.

Problems scanning?

Do you have problems scanning when you push the scan button? If the answer is yes, then you need to know that you have to use the Lexmark Productivity Studio icon to scan your documents!!

The Icon looks like this and should be located on your desktop after it is installed:




When the Lexmark Productivity Studio opens just click on the Scan icon (as pictures below):



**Make sure you scan the worksheet as a GRAPHIC/PICTURE! If you scan it as a document your teacher will not be able to read it!!**
